Jeffrey Tambor Recreates 'Larry Sanders Show' Opening On 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Jimmy Fallon's Classic TV Homage

This one goes out to all the "Larry Sanders Show" fans out there. For the second time, Jeffrey Tambor gave a nod to his seminal character Hank Kingsley when booked as a guest on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

Tambor, who was on the show to promote the new season of "Arrested Development," first reached wide fame playing Hank "Hey Now" Kingsley. Viewers will recall Kingsley as the perpetually beleaguered and ego-ridden sidekick to Garry Shandling's neurotic talk show host on the classic HBO series, which ran from 1992 to 1998. Tambor received four Emmy nominations for the role.

In addition to having Tambor guest-announce the show, "Late Night" recreated the opening credits of "The Larry Sanders Show," with Tambor-as-Kingsley warming up the audience as he did in every episode of "Sanders."

Check out the clip above, and watch below to compare it with the original opening from "Larry Sanders."
