Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back, this time in two very familiar capacities: The actor confirmed he will officially be part of "Terminator 5" and "The Expendables 3."
"I'm very happy that the studios want me to be in Terminator 5 and to star as the Terminator, which we start shooting in January," Schwarzenegger said at the 21st Century Financial Education Summit in Australia.
"The Expendables 3" will begin shooting in August in Los Angeles, Schwarzenegger revealed. The threequel is slated for an Aug. 15, 2014, release.
The former Governator also reminded us he is "very happy" to reprise two more of his roles in the upcoming sequels to "Conan the Barbarian" and "Twins." Neither update has received a release date yet.
"Terminator" fans should be especially thrilled about the news, as Schwarzenegger bowed out of the franchise's fourth installment due to obligations as governor of California. Regardless of his absence, "Terminator Salvation" collected more than $371 million worldwide, bringing the series' total gross to $1.4 billion.
