Do you dream of driving around in a sleek sports car, but can't exactly afford to shell out hundreds of thousands of dollars for one? When you travel, do you wish to drive a Ferrari convertible rather than a Ford four-door?
Hertz can -- temporarily -- make your wishes come true.
The rental car company has officially launched Hertz Dream Cars , which will allow customers to rent high-performance, luxury vehicles and provide them with VIP service. Renters will also get a one-on-one orientation to learn how to best use their new ride.
"The experience starts with a choice at select rental locations of some of the finest vehicles built on the planet," Mark P. Frissora, Hertz Chairman and CEO, said in a press release. “Additionally, the Dream Cars experience extends from special reservation channels to being greeted by a Hertz representative at the airport terminal, to a rental vehicle in pristine condition."
The cars will be available in 35 locations, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami and New York. A dozen car options range from upscale but common (Cadillacs and Audis) to elite and rare (Lamborghinis and Teslas), and range from $350 to more than $1,500 per day.
