The best part about coming home to a dog is the tail-wagging welcome that tells you how much you were missed.
This Reddit user's furry friend had a different -- but equally effective -- way of getting the message across.
On Tuesday morning, moonlikeme123 posted a photo of his dog with the caption, "My wife and I got back today from a week long vacation. This is what happened when I tried to move the car so I could mow."
Other Redditors responded by voicing what the anxious pooch was probably thinking.
"BUT... BUT YOU JUST GOT HERE," pethcir commented.
"This is the only thing I can think to do so you won't leave me again... I'm sorry I peed on the carpet when I was 2 months old," another Redditor wrote.
And ErikDangerFantastic penned our personal favorite:
"And that was the day I stopped them from leaving forever."
One Reddit user's adorably attached dog liked to cuddle her clothes while she was away.
