The Conn Smythe Trophy winner himself lugged the Stanley Cup and his MVP trophy Wednesday night onto "The Late Show with David Letterman" and outed himself. As a Parrothead.
In his interview with Letterman, the clean-shaven but unicorn mask-less Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane said he and his teammates have been "parading around Chicago the past couple nights and wherever that thing [the cup] is people want to be there and be around it."
Kane also hinted that a Jimmy Buffett concert might be in the cup's future come Saturday evening at the Charter One Pavilion.
After the interview, Letterman sent Kane down to the street with the Cup and.. well.. things got a little wet.
Kane tweeted a photo after the taping:
Good thing I brought a change of clothes. Let it rain Letterman pic.twitter.com/388LxsyXk8
