Robyn fans may be dancing on their own for the foreseeable future.
In an interview with The Guardian this week explaining her recent work with Snoop Dogg, Robyn offered an update on her next project -- or lack of a new project.
"Yeah. I mean, I've started working again," Robyn told The Guardian about her next album. "I don't know what it will be – it's too early to say if it's going to be an album, or an EP. I don't even know if it's going to be my own music. We shall see."
The 34-year-old singer released her last album, "Body Talk," in 2010. The album provided singles such as "Call Your Girlfriend" and "Dancing on My Own," both of which achieved mainstream success. Robyn has put out a total of five solo studio albums, beginning with her debut album, "Robyn Is Here," in 1995.
"I see people messaging me on my Twitter and sometimes I feel bad because I'm nowhere near finished with the album," Robyn added. "It's probably going to be a while before you hear anything new from me."
