John finally unloaded the source of all his underlying frustration with Regina on this week's episode of "Switched at Birth." He resented her for keeping Daphne away from him for the first years of her life, and now he feels like Regina is keeping Bay away from him. Not intentionally, per se, but it's easy to see why he would feel that he's being left out.
John has been one of those characters that's quick to anger and even quicker to react. But all those pent up emotions can lead to some very real and drastic consequences. In the closing moments of this episode, Regina stormed back in to pick up her fight with John, but instead found him lying on the ground.
Calling 911, she began to administer CPR. She told the 911 operator that she couldn't get a pulse. And that's how the hour ended, with John's life in the balance and Regina doing what she could to keep him alive until the paramedics could arrive. TV Fanatic found the scene "really powerful."
SheKnows "found it interesting that [Regina] was the one who found [John] suffering from what [one] could only assume was a heart attack. That final minute, with Regina counting out as she did CPR on him, felt like the longest 60 seconds ever.”
Find out how the scene plays out by coming back for more "Switched at Birth," Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
