Kris Jenner is a mother, grandmother, wife, reality TV star, entrepreneur, author and "momager." So how did she find time to develop and host her own talk show? We don't know, but we're excited to find out!
The Kardashian matriarch stopped by HuffPost Live on July 8 to dish on her new show "Kris" -- which premieres July 15 on Fox -- and chat about her life as the head of the most famous family in Hollywood. And lucky for us, she had time to take HuffPost Celebrity's #nofilter challenge.
The girls embarrass you/play tricks on you on camera -- what's the biggest prank they've pulled off camera?Well, they did this thing recently, but then it ended up on camera because we were filming. Scott [Disick] kept calling and going "Hi Auntie Kris, it's Todd Cranes." And I really thought that this person was stalking me, so we hired security ... this guy was sending me flowers and it was just crazy. They get me. We play practical jokes on each other all the time. ALL the time. And it's so silly ... like last night we toilet-papered and put shaving cream on Kim's house, but that's just like what we do.
How do you explain all the divorce rumors to Kylie and Kendall?Kylie and Kendall are smarter than their age. And I think that they live with us, so they see us together. It's like, "Hi, you're down the hall." You know, it's not really that hard to explain when you're all in the same house. When you have a big sister like Khloe [Kardashian], you don't have to guess at anything. Khloe thinks she's their mother, by the way, she will take credit for being their mom. Khloe is the gossip police at our house, if you will, so she just spells it out for them and after they were like 10 or 11, they just got the drill. You know, you finally get used to it and they have tough skin, as well. And Kendall pretty much ignores it all. Kylie is a little more sensitive, so Khloe is Kylie's go-to.
What’s your guilty pleasure?My guilty pleasure is probably a massage. It means that I take time for myself, which I get guilty about doing. I'm my best when I'm overextended or nutty, so for me to lay down somewhere for an hour is crazy. [I do] deep tissue on the back and shoulders, because that's where I carry my stress, and Swedish everywhere else.
Who are you jealous of lately?Actually, I'm jealous of my girlfriend Shelly who flies private because I hate going through security. [laughs]. That's what I'm jealous of this week because I've done a lot of traveling. But no, I'm just happy for everybody. I'm somebody who wants everybody to have their moment and do their thing and I think there's room for everybody. So I'm pretty much a team player.
One person you're probably not jealous of these days is Paula Deen ... Do you ever think about, "What if I do something wrong or say something wrong ..."?I think we all have done something wrong and I've said this before in the press, we're big fans of Paula Deen and her energy and her talent and she's an amazing chef. I don't know the situation, but I would never even go out on a limb and say that I could judge something like that. I think until you walk in somebody else's shoes and you really know the inside scoop or you're with them in their life, then you can't make a judgment about somebody else. And I learned that the hard way with other people judging us. If something happens, everybody is so quick to hate on you and I think that's like being bullied in high school ... if somebody gets into trouble, everybody is very quick to jump on that hating bandwagon and I feel bad about that. So I like to save my judgement until I actually know what's going on with somebody.
Will Paula Deen make it on "Kris"?I don't know, she could come on. Maybe she'd cook something for us. Why not? I don't know. I just think for me it's about having fun and one big party all summer.
