Queen Elizabeth II is keeping busy while she waits for the royal baby to arrive. Instead of camping outside the duchess' anticipated hospital as some well-wishers have done, Elizabeth pow-wowed with international royals on Wednesday.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima had tea with Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle, the couple's first official visit since ascending the Dutch throne. According to sources, the meeting was a joyous one -- kisses were involved.
Maxima wore a red sleeveless dress and practical nude pumps (sadly, no bicycle riding this time), while Elizabeth picked a festive long-sleeved number adorned with blue and green hydrangea. King Willem-Alexander modeled a sensible blue tie to round out the stylish trio.
Is this the beginning of a beautiful friendship, or what?
