Bob Beckel walked back controversial comments he made on Tuesday's "The Five" about prohibiting the building of mosques in the U.S.
In response to a story about a deadly attack on a Nigerian school, which was believed to be carried out by militants who were Boko Haram Islamic radicals, Beckel said, "If it were up to me, I would not have another mosque built in this country until we got it worked out who was not a terrorist."
At the end of Wednesday's show, Beckel said he might have "overstated his case." He added, "It was an overstatement because in this country we are allowed to build and practice our religions."
