Claire Danes' Vogue Cover Makes 'Homeland' Star A High-Fashion Spy (PHOTO)

PICS: See Claire Danes' 'Homeland'-Inspired Vogue Cover!

For their August cover story, Vogue has gone rogue. Instead of dressing cover star Claire Danes in a ladylike gown, Vogue created an espionage-themed shoot worthy of her Showtime drama, "Homeland."

Annie Leibovitz photographed Danes alongside costar Damian Lewis in high-end looks. The actors pose in an interrogation room, a surveillance van, a sedan and a hotel room, looking very serious the whole time.

As for the cover shot, Danes is equally serious, still in character in a Burberry Prorsum trenchcoat (how very "Spy vs. Spy"). She accessorizes with a gold belt, because she's not a regular spy, she's a cool spy. Don't mess with me, Danes' stoneface says. After seeing the show's torture scenes, we weren't planning on it.
