The Royal Baby's Nursery Will Reportedly Be Decorated In Elegant Neutral Colors

Royal Baby Nursery Will Be Decorated As Elegantly As Kate

As the world waits eagerly for the arrival of Prince William and Kate Middleton's Royal Baby, curiosity about the future heir or heiress' nursery is growing. So what exactly do the experts expect that bundle of joy will be coming home to? Well, a pretty chic room for starters.

According to Victoria Murphy, ABC News’ royals contributor, the baby's room will be reminiscent of the Duchess' fashion style. "She likes very classic … very simple things, very elegant,” Murphy said. And what could be more tasteful than a pale neutral color palette?

E! Online suggests Middleton is ditching the blues and pinks and opting for gender-neutral earth-tones. She did pick up a cream-colored woven bassinet from children's store Blue Almonds back in April. And she was more recently seen shopping for herringbone brown curtains from Bernard Thorp. However, she has supposedly picked up Bugaboo's special-edition Cameleon3 stroller in blue.

Although the color scheme would make sense, especially if it's true that designer Kelly Hoppen was hired by the royal couple to decorate their abode. Hopper is known for her amazing use of taupes and beige.
