Matt Lauer's copy of the New York Times accidentally got delivered to Fox News on Tuesday, and the folks at "Fox and Friends" decided to have a little fun with it.
"Look at this," Steve Doocy said on-air, holding up the paper. He said that Lauer should send Al Roker to pick it up, and tweeted:

The tweet got a response from Lauer — who joked, "Bogus story Steve. We saw Kilmeade running from our loading dock!" — and Savannah Guthrie, who wrote , "Ha. Have you seen my Economist? (Read: People)Roker had this comeback:
@sdoocy Hey we have more than one. But bring Kilmeade over. We have plenty of babies and basketballs here

He was referring, of course, to the time Kilmeade tried to pass a basketball to a toddler and hit him in the face instead.
Later, Doocy told Lauer to meet him at 48th Street and 6th Avenue at 8:34am for an on-air exchange. Needless to say, Lauer did not show up. Nor did Roker or Guthrie.
