Temar Boggs Says He Had 'Gut Feeling' He Would Find Abducted Girl (VIDEO)

A 15-year-old boy who chased down an abducted child on Thursday in Lancaster, Penn., said he had a "feeling" in his stomach that he would find her.

Temar Boggs, a freshman at Lancaster's McCaskey High School, described to the Lancaster Intelligencer Journal what happened as he and a friend, Chris Garcia, pursued an unknown man who allegedly had abducted 5-year-old Jocelyn Rojas after promising to buy her ice cream.

Boggs said he was helping an elderly woman move a couch when someone came to ask if he'd seen Rojas, who had been abducted that afternoon. After helping look for Rojas on foot, Boggs and Garcia decided to continue the search on bicycles.

"I saw this suspicious car. I looked into the passenger seat and I saw this little girl, and I said, 'I think that's her,'" Boggs recounted, explaining that he and Garcia followed the car for 15 minutes before the man became "scared," pushed Rojas out and drove off.

Boggs carried the girl to law enforcement officials, but said Rojas was still afraid. "First she didn't want to leave my arms because she was scared they were gonna do something to her," Boggs said, adding that she agreed to go with the officials after Boggs reassured her that she was safe.

The suspect in the abduction is still on the loose, according to multiple reports. He is described as being a white man between the ages of 50 and 70 who walks with a limp and was wearing green pants, green shoes and a red-and-white striped shirt at the time of the incident, according to police who interviewed the girl about the 2.5 hours she spent with the man.

The suspect was also said to be driving a purplish or maroon car, possibly a Chevrolet, with round tail lights.

Manheim Township Police Chief Neil Harkins said there are indications that the girl was assaulted, but that police are not sure what kind of assault occurred, the Lancaster Intelligencer reported.
