'Big Brother': Focus Back On Game With MVP Nomination And Power Of Veto (VIDEO)

'Big Brother': MVP Nomination, Power Of Veto Results

There was no need for a disclaimer this week, as the focus switched from racism back to the game of "Big Brother." With the MVP nomination and the POV competition, there was a lot of ground to cover this week. And a lot of scrambling for Jeremy, who rightly guessed that he was the real target of the week.

Even though he wasn't nominated, Jeremy was pretty sure the plan was to backdoor him after the POV competition. Making matters worse, his in-house girlfriend, Kaitlin, was one of the people currently on the block. After Elissa won her third MVP of the season, she put Spencer up, sticking to the plan to backdoor Jeremy if given the chance.

It was down to the POV competition. If Jeremy was chosen to play, he could win the Power of Veto, and then there'd be no chance to eliminate him. When he wasn't selected to compete, current Head of Household Helen could barely contain her excitement. Her master plan was working to perfection.

"Oh my gosh! We didn’t put Jeremy on the block. He didn’t get picked to play the veto. We can finally backdoor him! Jeremy, pack your bags. Your days are numbered," she said triumphantly.

Kaitlin ultimately won, leaving her in a tough spot. Save herself, knowing it would put Jeremy up, or stay on the block and risk her own game. Entertainment Weekly was glad when she chose to save herself, proving that she had a backbone and a strategic brain in the game.

With Kaitlin off the block, Helen nominated Jeremy and her plan was almost fully realized. Now all she needs is the votes to get him out on Thursday night, which seems a foregone conclusion. It was an hour packed with strategy and game, which was fine by Buddy TV, who wrote that they were glad to see the focus back on the game, and not the drama some houseguests don't even realize they're creating.

Find out if Jeremy can avoid elimination as "Big Brother" continues, Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET and Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
