Robert Seldon Lady, Ex-CIA Chief In Milan Arrested In Panama, Returning To U.S., State Department Says

WASHINGTON, July 19 (Reuters) - Former CIA Milan station chief Robert Seldon Lady, who was convicted in Italy of kidnapping an Egyptian Muslim cleric and was arrested in Panama, is headed back to the United States, a State Department spokeswoman said on Friday.

"We understand he is en route or back in the U.S.," said Marie Harf, a State Department spokeswoman. (Reporting by Lesley Wroughton; editing by Christopher Wilson)
