The 20th anniversary reissue of Nirvana's 1993 album "In Utero" will feature a super-sized 70 tracks when it hits stores Sept. 24. The collection will include the remastered album along with previously unreleased demos, B-sides and live tracks, boasting a full performance from the same year featuring the final lineup of the band as we knew them.
Released Sept. 3, 1993, the acclaimed "In Utero" -- which debuted at No. 1 upon its release and has since been certified five times platinum -- marked Nirvana's third and final studio album before frontman Kurt Cobain committed suicide in April of the following year. The live performance included on the reissue comes from a December 1993 "Live and Loud" gig in Seattle and will also be released as a standalone DVD on Sept. 24.
The entire "Super Deluxe Edition" spans three CDs along with the DVD. The reissue will also be available in a two-CD, three-LP package.
