Despite a few unflattering reviews, Selena Gomez’ "Stars Dance" appears to have won over the public. So much so, that it knocked Jay-Z off the #1 slot on the Billboard Album Charts.
"Stars Dance" is the first official chart-topper for Selena, selling an impressive 97,000 units its first week. And at the rate it’s going, there’s a very good chance that Gomez could have a platinum record on her hands.

But before you get too excited, keep in mind that Jay-Z’s Magna Carta…Holy Grail still has the top slot on iTunes, one notch above "Stars Dance."
