Red Sox Walk-Off Wins: Boston Nears Franchise Record For Most Walk-Off Victories (VIDEO)

Red Sox Love Walking Off

If the Boston Red Sox' 2013 season is going to have a theme song then the club might want to call upon local band Aerosmith to slightly tweak one of their greatest hits to "Walk Off This Way."

The Sox added to their MLB-leading tally of walk-off wins on Thursday night by Boston rallying from five runs down in the bottom of the ninth against Seattle. With the score tied at seven and the bases loaded, Daniel Nava crushed a single to deep center field to drive in the winning run.

"Just got to keep playing for 27 outs," Boston outfielder Shane Victorino said after the win, via MLB.com. "I don't want to use the word 'magical' myself. I'll let Skip use it. But for me, I think it's one of those things, you've just got to keep playing. These are all games that you're going to look back on at the end of the season, whether you're there or you're not. Wins like this, you keep winning games like this, we're going to be some place that we want to be."

According to ESPN Stats and Info, Boston's 11 walk-off wins are the most the team has had in a season since 1978 and just two shy of the franchise record.

Above are all of Boston's walk-off hits (so far) in one video.
