Long before he became Walter White, a villain in protagonist's clothing on "Breaking Bad," Bryan Cranston voiced a totally different type of bad guy and Jay Leno had the footage on "The Tonight Show" to prove it.
"What did I do to you?" Cranston pleaded before the late-night host rolled a clip of the Emmy-winning actor on a 1993 episode of "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers."
The audience loved hearing old-school Cranston as some kind of amphibious creator named Snizard. His line, "Now you shall taste my firepower," elicited cheers from the audience, leading the "Breaking Bad" star to do a ninja kick for the audience.
As Vulture points out, embarrassing celebrities with some of their first roles has really become Leno’s shtick, and we love it.
But Cranston got Leno back, rolling an old clip of the "Tonight Show" host on an episode of “Good Times.”
"The Tonight Show" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.
