The ladies all came together on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" season finale ... by ganging up on Slade and Gretchen. The gang was gathered at Vicki's winter-themed party, and Vicki called out Slade for constantly putting down women for their looks, even calling Vicki "Miss Piggy" at one point.
“Be careful of your tongue when you’re talking about women’s looks," Vicki told him. But Slade was not the least bit concerned.
“I don’t need to be careful," he said. "I haven’t treated you any way you haven’t treated me.”
At this, Lydia jumped in and said, "You’ve treated me how I never treated you ... I’ve never done anything to you, and you definitely knocked on my looks.”
“Your words affect women," she continued, to which Slade responded, "And women’s words affect me.”
“Don’t you want to be the bigger person?” she asked him.
“No, actually, Lydia. I don’t," he responded coolly.
Buddy TV's Jennifer Lind-Westbrook thought Slade got what was coming to him. “Basically, Slade is forced to deal with the repercussions of his actions," she wrote. "He does have a tendency to fight dirty, and he's being called out on it.”
After that ugliness, though, the women still got together and took a group photo to wrap the season. The Stir's Kiri Blakeley thought this was a little strange. "Heather explained to the camera that this was what friendship was about," she wrote. "Well, not in my house. But I'll watch it in yours.”
