The Washington Post was sold to Amazon's Jeff Bezos for $250 million, it was revealed Monday. The amount equaled less than 1 percent of the billionaire's net worth, which is estimated at $28 billion.

The Post's $250 million pricetag wasn't exactly chump change — especially considering that the Boston Globe recently sold for a mere $70 million — but we can think of a few things that sold for even more. Below, see 10 other things that cost more than the Washington Post.
