Nina Dobrev recently split from her longtime boyfriend (and "Vampire Diaries" co-star) Ian Somerholder, and it looks like she'll be remaining single in the future -- at least, for a while. The 24-year-old actress told Us Weekly over the weekend that she's "in no rush" to find a new boyfriend.
"I've been a relationship girl and I've been in long-term relationships my whole life until this point, so I think I'm looking forward to spending some time with myself and finding myself again," she said.
Dobrev added: "I'm just discovering different sides of me and growing and then I'll figure out what I like in a man when I see it."
Dobrev -- who graces the cover of Cosmopolitan's September issue -- also spoke out recently about her much-publicized friendship with Julianne Hough. (Quick recap: Hough broke up with boyfriend Ryan Seacrest in March, leading many to speculate that Dobrev and Hough had bonded over their ex-beaus).
"Thats not what our friendship is about," Dobrev told Cosmopolitan. "Unfortunately, that's how it's perceived, but there's more to us. People aren't defined by their relationships. The whole point is being true to yourself and not losing yourself in relationships, whether romances or friendships."
