Four months after tearing his Achilles tendon, Kobe Bryant is running on treadmills... gingerly.
The five-time NBA champion posted a video onto his Instagram account of him running on an anti-gravity treadmill, a device that allows him to exercise without having to support all of his body weight. Bryant posted the hashtags "#mambamental" and "#vinoclock" to go along with the video,
Bryant said earlier in August that he has "shattered" the usual recovery timetable for this kind of injury. But in an interview with late night host Jimmy Kimmel last week, Kobe said he isn't sure if he'll be ready for the Lakers' season-opener.
