Getting enough fiber in your diet is essential if you want to boost your metabolism. When celebrity fitness trainer Joel Harper joined me on Mondays With Marlo, he explained that you want to get your heart pumping with cardio exercises and increase the fiber in your diet to really rev up your metabolism. Get your fiber first thing in the morning with high-fiber cereal or with powered fiber that you can put into a glass of water. Whole fruit and whole vegetables are also a great natural source of fiber.
