"Today" weekend anchor Jenna Wolfe gave birth to a baby girl on Wednesday.

Wolfe and her longtime partner Stephanie Gosk, an NBC News foreign correspondent, welcomed Harper Estelle Wolfeld Gosk into the world at 7:31 p.m., "Today" announced. The three of them appeared on the morning show from the hospital on Thursday. "This is the greatest gift," Wolfe said.

On Twitter Wednesday, she described herself as "speechless," and Gosk shared the first photo of their baby:

Earlier that day, Wolfe wrote what she said would be her last blog post before giving birth. "It is with slightly borrowed time (I say borrowed because for some reason I feel like labor can literally begin any second now -- wait, no, false alarm, that was just a hunger pain) that I have the need to share my wide range of emotions this hour/this day/this week," she wrote.

She announced her pregnancy and came out as gay at the same time in March. She has been chronicling her pregnancy for "Today" since then, and the show gave her a big send-off when she started maternity leave last week.
