Eva Longoria is a single woman again.
TMZ is reporting that Longoria has split from her boyfriend, Ernesto Arguello, after just four months of dating. The breakup came after the two touched down in Los Angeles following a vacation in Spain. They supposedly decided to end things because of their busy and conflicting schedules. The actress spends most of her time in Los Angeles, while Arguello is based in Miami.
However, one source told TMZ, "They're just on hold right now."
The 38-year-old star and the civil engineer met on the set of her now-canceled NBC dating show, "Ready for Love." They started dating in the spring. Breakup rumors began swirling last week when it was reported that the pair had not been together since returning from Marbella, Spain, on Aug. 6. Prior to that, they had been inseparable, jetting off to places like Paris and Nicaragua together.
Last month, People magazine said Longoria and Arguello were marriage-bound.
"It's very real – they're both in love, which is rare for him," a source told the magazine. "They're always traveling together. His family likes her a lot ... they've never seen him so taken by someone."
"Eva is a firm believer in marriage. Ernie may be a player when he is single, but he's never cheated on anyone and is very religious. I think the fact that he's so family oriented is what got her," the source added. "My guess would be they'll be married within the next year."
Last year, the former "Desperate Housewives" star was linked to New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.
