Bike-Riding Blind Dates: Project Fixup, Divvy Bikes Partner For Unique New Service

Looking for love on two wheels, Chicago?

Divvy Bikes, the city's bike-sharing initiative, on Monday launched a new partnership with Project Fixup, a Chicago-based online dating website.

The new service allows Project Fixup users to enjoy a bike-centric blind date arranged by the site.

For $15 through Sept. 15, Project Fixup will provide a complimentary Divvy rental code plus do the leg work of setting up two single folks who create profiles on the site, working with their schedules to choose an ideal time for both parties and sending them on their way to enjoy each others' company. If a match can't be made, a refund is issued.

"Whether you’re trying to test your date’s fitness level or just trying to cover a chunk of the city with someone new, this fixup is not one to miss. And hey, if it doesn’t work out - you can always make a quick escape," Project Fixup's website says of the deal.
