News came this week that Microsoft is buying Nokia's phone business. While the Finnish mobile pioneer had a good run, with its humble beginnings as a groundwood pulp mill in the 19th century to its $7.2 billion sale, there's only one thing everybody is likely to remember about Nokia. That's somebody beating "Snake," the iconic, simple and frustratingly difficult game that first showed up on Nokia phones in 1997 on the 6110 model. We really should have known Nokia's demise was inevitable as soon as that snake swallowed the last dot.
