There's no denying that Cameron Diaz is the epitome of West Coast cool. So, it's no surprise that when she wanted to add a Hollywood touch to her West Village, New York apartment, she enlisted the queen of California design, Kelly Wearstler.
Featured in Elle Decor's October issue, this 2,400-square-foot pre-war space is one of Wearstler's more muted projects, but thanks to the metal and glided decorative accents, it still has the glitz and glamour Diaz wanted. "I blame my love of sparkly, shiny things on my Cuban roots," the actress said. "But I also wanted a place that felt very homey, very tactile. Kelly is unparalleled when it comes to striking that mix."
Our favorite room in the house, and Diaz's as well, is the kitchen. While most of the home has a neutral palette, the duo worked together to make this space pop with rose-colored wallpaper and brace-trimmed emerald green cabinets. Another space that we wouldn't mind spending some time in is the guest bathroom that's covered in pink onyx.
And even though Diaz is a California girl at heart, it looks like her style can travel from coast to coast. "I'm surrounded by things that mean something to me. That's what a home is," she said.
