Nantucket Beach Home Designed By Claire Sautter Is The Most Bright And Airy Seaside Getaway (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: This Beach House Is What Dreams Are Made Of

When designer Claire Sautter was approached by clients to work on their historic Nantucket vacation home, she was thrilled to be a part of all aspects of the design. And two years later, the stunning renovation is complete inside and out. The result? A magnificent place for a family of six to get away from it all.

Sautter describes the home as “Old Nantucket,” but the interiors are anything but tired. The color palette throughout the space includes lots of white with pops of navy and turquoise. It's definitely reminiscent of the sea, but the deep blue also happens to be the man of the house's favorite color and it's carried into the master bedroom in a beachy coral motif.

We especially love the kids' wing. The double bunk beds remind us of the interior of a boat and the elephant print and other playful fabrics are fabulous. When we asked Sautter about her favorite room (of course she thought it was difficult to select just one) she said the porch has become a coveted spot for the entire family and their friends.
