Penn State's offense didn't get off to a good start against Eastern Michigan on Saturday. Freshman quarterback Christian Hackenberg only completed one of his first five passes during the Nittany Lions' first two possessions (both three-and-outs). On the first play of their third possession, Hackenberg lost his grip on the football (untouched) and Eastern Michigan's Hunter Matt returned it for a touchdown.

Hackenberg was able to bounce back in a big way. He completed 23 off 33 passes, threw for 311 yards and connected with receiver Allen Robinson on a 45-yard touchdown pass. Penn State went on to win, 45-7.
