'Awkward' Fall Premiere Trailer: Season 3 Returns With Jenna Facing A Choice (VIDEO)

The first half of "Awkward" Season 3 ended with Jenna (Ashley Rickards) sharing a kiss with a guy who wasn't her boyfriend, Matty (Beau Mirchoff), and when the show returns for its fall premiere on Tues., Oct. 22 at 10:30 p.m. ET, our heroine must decide what she really wants.

MTV has released a new trailer for the final 10 episodes of Season 3, which you can watch above. Though her rival-turned-crush Collin (Nolan Funk) is tempting, Jenna resolves to end her infidelity before Matty finds out -- but that doesn't mean it'll be smooth sailing for the teenage lovebirds from now on ...

Here's the description for the rest of the season, courtesy of MTV:

Throughout the fall season, and in the wake of Jenna’s romance with Collin, she begins to question the stability of her relationship with Matty, and whether her straying is a sign of something deeper. But after a surprise public kiss shakes her world, there is no going back. One mistake will make things awkward-er than ever, and Jenna’s personality makeover will leave her friends and family wondering who this new Jenna is. Will her flirtation with her wilder side leave the ones she loves in her wake, or will she learn from life’s tests and come out stronger than ever?

“Awkward” stars Rickards, Mirchoff, Molly Tarlov as Sadie, Jillian Rose Reed as Tamara, Brett Davern as Jake, Nikki DeLoach as Lacey, Desi Lydic as Valerie, Jessica Lu as Ming, Mike Faiola as Kevin and Greer Grammer as Lissa. In addition to funk, fellow guest star Anthony Michael Hall will return as Mr. Hart, a sadistic creative writing teacher who pushes students out of their comfort zones.

With creator Lauren Iungerich stepping down as showrunner after Season 3, Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler (“90210,” “Cashmere Mafia,” “Are You There, Chelsea?” and “Reba”) will helm the show for its upcoming fourth season, which will premiere in 2014.

The second half of "Awkward" Season 3 premieres Tues., Oct. 22 at 10:30 p.m. ET on MTV.
