Miami Police Chase After Double Shooting Ends With Fatal Crash, Apparent Suicide (VIDEO)

Four Dead After Shooting, Police Chase In Miami

A double slaying in Miami-Dade ended with two more fatalities Wednesday after a horrific high-speed crash in Broward County.

The tragic incident began after a mother and daughter were shot to death in South Miami Wednesday morning; the suspected gunman, identified by news outlets as Antonio Feliu, then fled, leading police on a high-speed chase north.

Feliu then crashed into another vehicle at U.S. 27 and Griffin Road, causing the other driver, Maritza Millan Medina, to be ejected, according to the Miami Herald. Medina, a mother who had reportedly just dropped her daughter off at school, died at the scene.

The raw footage below shows SWAT officers surround Feliu's damaged SUV before quickly retreating to seek shelter behind their cars.

Local 10 reports that Feliu fired at officers before turning the gun on himself in an apparent suicide.

The two women shot this morning were Feliu's girlfriend and her daughter, according to WSVN.

Miami-Dade police later confirmed that the mother, Vivian Gallego Martinez, died at the scene. Her daughter Anabel Benitez passed away after being airlifted to a nearby hospital.

This is a developing story.
