"The Daily Show's" Aasif Mandvi looks to take on an issue that has marked Obama's second term: immigration reform.
After eight Congressmen were arrested during a protest aimed at reigniting immigration reform efforts in the House, Mandvi set out to prove just how much of a burden immigrants are on the United States but was quickly set straight by, well, facts.
"Immigrants aren't bad for America but in some ways, America is bad for immigrants" says David Cort, an immigration sociologist from the University of Massachusetts. Cort is referring to reports that immigrants in the United States face worse heart disease rates, diabetes and blood pressure the longer they are in the country.
