LeBron James is soaring again. He is fast breaking. He is alley-ooping. He is dunking. His Miami Heat lost to the Washington Wizards in a preseason tilt in the nation's capital on Tuesday night but these back-to-back slams showed that the four-time NBA MVP has been cleared for takeoff ahead of the 2013-2014 season.
"I think the guys in this locker room enjoy being showmen and putting on a good show for the fans," Heat forward Shane Battier told the Miami Herald after the two-time defending champs fell 100-82. "And so it’s nice that this team is appreciated for good basketball.”
