Cynthia Collins, Interior Designer, Has A Texas Home That's Feminine, Fresh And Fantastic (PHOTOS)

Remodeling is never easy -- even when you're a famous designer. So, when we saw Cynthia Collins' Dallas, Texas abode on Domaine Home, we had to share her tips and tricks for making her house a real home.

A lot of work went into making this house as functional as possible. Collins and her husband remodel the place and strategically paid attention to the detailing. For example, many of the rooms are on the smaller side, so each was painted white to make them look bigger. She also had the original ceiling moulding recreate throughout the house for a nice flow. Now the rooms look bright, airy and spacious.

And, when Collins was concerned about being able to fit enough people in her dining room, she simply just switched the space with the area she was using as the living room, which was slightly bigger. “Everyone loves a small room -- the living room is now the smallest room in the house, but that’s where everyone is drawn to because it’s cozy.”

Scroll through the photos below to see her home, and be sure to head over to Domaine Home for more information.
