eBay Signs On 200 'Tastemaker' Curators And Totally Ups The Design Ante (PHOTOS)

eBay Just Upped The Design Ante And We Love It

If Pinterest and eBay had a baby, it would look something like the new Marketplace eBay revealed on Tuesday featuring curated collections by some 200 "trendsetter star curators," including design-world favorites like Jeremiah Brent and blogger Joy Cho.

According to a press release on the project, the goal of the new feature is "to make browsing and buying on eBay more personalized and inspiring." And by the looks of it, we say: mission accomplished.

The addition of social features on the site is part of an ongoing upgrade that eBay has been conducting, including a Pinterest-inspired redesign to its homepage, which launched last year, Tech Crunch notes.

Its latest initiative lets you follow curators from across a variety of interest areas, who are creating beautiful collections on the site.

Here's a look at a few of the trendsetters eBay chose and what's inspiring their picks.
