After working for three years as part of the scouting team for Rice University, walk-on running back Jayson Carter finally got the chance to record his first career carry.

With Rice leading 45-7 at the time, the 4'9" sophomore ran for a one-yard gain in the Owls' blowout victory.

“I did what I was supposed to," said Carter, who has a genetic disorder hindering his growth, per the Houston Chronicle . "I didn’t get negative yards."
