Here's A Sneak Peek Of Hallmark Channel's First Annual Kitten Bowl In 2014 (PHOTOS)

It may be a little early to start getting excited about who's playing in the Super Bowl, but we're already gearing up for 2014's first annual 'Kitten Bowl.'

Hallmark announced earlier this year that the channel will be giving kittens the chance to step up from their half-time slot during Animal
Planet's annual 'Puppy Bowl' and have a game all their own.

Filming is already underway, Today reports, with 60 to 70 kittens from the North Shore Animal League participating in two preliminary playoff games, an obstacle course and a championship match.

The big game, which will air on Super Bowl Sunday at noon EST, will be hosted by Beth Ostrosky Stern, Howard Stern's wife, and radio sportscaster John Sterling with celebs like Regis Philbin and Rachel Ray in attendance.

And the best news? All the adorable kittens are available for adoption.

A Hallmark Channel spokesperson told TheWrap, "The kitties participating in 'Kitten Bowl' will be adopted to loving families... making puppies and kittens, alike, winners on Super Bowl Sunday."

Stay tuned for preview clips, which Hallmark Channel will upload to YouTube on Dec. 1.
