Nate Berkus Covers Rue Magazine, Shows Off More Of His Dreamy Hollywood Escape (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: An Inside Look At Nate's Private Life

We've got a thing for the color black and for superstar designer Nate Berkus, so you can imagine our glee when we saw the two appear on the November 2013 cover of Rue magazine this week.

Inside, we get a closer look at the Los Angeles home he shares with fiancé Jeremiah Brent. The couple opened up their stunning abode in the August issue of Harper's Bazaar, but delve once more into how their individual approaches to design came together in the latest issue of Rue. From the looks of it, color played a major role -- or did it?

"I've spent many years living in grays," says Nate. "Jeremiah's truest aesthetic is black, white, and camel. He's most comfortable living and working in those colors."

Despite that, Nate says he and Jeremiah focused on brining in different textures, like alligator, marble and cashmere instead. "This house gave us the opportunity to focus on the architecture and not so much the colors we were working with," he says.
