Michelle Knight Tells Dr. Phil About Abduction By Ariel Castro In 1st TV Interview

Cleveland Kidnapping Victim Reveals How Ariel Castro Abducted Her

The Cleveland kidnapper who held three women as sex slaves for approximately 10 years lured one of his young victims into his sinister lair by promising her puppies.

In an interview this week, Michelle Knight told Dr. Phil that she became a prisoner of Ariel Castro's dungeon a decade ago because he convinced her to enter his dilapidated home by promising to give her a small dog.

"He tells me, 'Well just come in for a little while, the puppies are upstairs, you could take one home to your son,'" said Knight, now 32, in her first TV interview. "So I said, 'okay.'"

She was hesitant to go upstairs with Castro, but she said she reluctantly agreed. She quickly regretted her decision as Castro bound her with a clothesline.

"I was tied up like a fish, an ornament on the wall," Knight said. "That's the only way I can describe it."

The three women had been regularly raped and Knight underwent an abortion.

Knight, and the other captives Amanda Barry and Gina Dejesus escaped from the house of horrors in May with the help of a neighbor who broke open a locked door.

Castro was found dead in his prison cell on Sept. 3, weeks after he was convicted and sentenced to life in prison.
