All The Deliciously Adorable Things A Baby Does While His Sister Is At Preschool

The Story Behind This Photo Series Is Absolutely Charming

Some kids might feel left out if they knew their younger siblings were having wildly exciting adventures during the school day. Not 3-year-old Annie Spohr.

The toddler asked her mother, Heather Spohr, what happened on the home front while she was away at preschool -- and mom provided photographic evidence. "While You Were At Preschool" showcases Annie's 5-month-old brother "Jamesie" doing everything from trying on dress-up clothes to cooking dinner, discovering the Halloween candy and exploring outer space.

Here -- with Annie's commentary -- is what Jamesie has been up to so far. (Scroll to the very bottom to see what happens when the siblings are reunited on what looks like a very blissful vacation.)

As Heather writes, "Hopefully Annie will still think it’s funny when James is actually getting into her stuff while she’s at school!"

Heather Spohr
"WHAT? No he didn’t! He’s just a baby!"
Heather Spohr
"JAMESIE! YOU LOOK LIKE A PRINCESS!"

"Oh my gosh, he fell in the basket! That’s so funny!"
Heather Spohr
"WHAT?! James can cook?!"
Heather Spohr
"Mommy! He has those funny things in his hair like you have sometimes!!!"
Heather Spohr
"James went to the movies?! Did he see a Tiana movie? That’s so silly!"
Heather Spohr
"Mommy! James doesn’t have any TEETH!"
Heather Spohr
"Oh Jamesie, I bet your songs are soooo beautiful!"
Heather Spohr
"That’s not real, Mama. That’s just pretend. Can I go to space, too?"
Heather Spohr
"Cool! James is better at pumping gas than you!"
Heather Spohr
“OH NO! Did Jamesie save any candy for the trick-or-treaters?!?!”
Heather Spohr
“I should have looked up in the air and said hi to him!!!”
Heather Spohr
"Jamesie SHAVED?! That’s so cool!"
Heather Spohr
"I like taking naps when I can see the ocean!"
Heather Spohr
"Jamesie, let’s stay here forever."
