Katie Holmes' Red Lipstick In Bobbi Brown Campaign Is A Rare (And Awesome) Sight

We've always been a fan of Katie Holmes' simple makeup look -- the barely-there eye shadow, basic mascara, no lipstick. It's the kind of makeup we regular gals know how to do.

But we're getting inspired by Katie's makeover for Bobbi Brown. In ads for the beauty brand's Old Hollywood Collection, Holmes is sporting dramatic dark eyeliner, a shiny red lip and flawless skin. And she looks amazing, of course.

It's a bold new look for the actress, who's been posing in Bobbi Brown campaigns since January. But she's been wearing natural, pared-down makeup since at least her "Dawson's Creek" days -- in fact, this might be one of the only times we can remember her wearing red lipstick at all.
