Oliver Stone cast his vote for an Elizabeth Warren 2016 presidential bid during a HuffPost Live interview on November 4.
Calling Clinton a "hawk" and noting that she is "part of the old system," the acclaimed director said, "I would prefer Elizabeth Warren to her, because she's a reformer. And I like reformers."
In light of the recent New Republic story, Stone seemed to echo the sentiments of many in the Democratic Party.
Dubbing Warren "precisely" the person who would "amass huge piles of money with relatively little effort" and would "awaken in Democratic voters an almost evangelical passion," The New Republic asserts that the Party's "soul lies with Elizabeth Warren."
