Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) had no patience when asked about Levi Johnston, the father of her grandson Tripp.
Johnston filed for equal custody of Tripp, his son with the former vice presidential candidate's daughter Bristol Palin, earlier this month. When TMZ asked about Johnston's request, Palin said it was the "stupidest question."
"Yeah, deadbeat dad, more power to him," Palin said. "Get a clue."
Johnston and Palin's son Tripp was born in 2008. Because of the couple's rocky relationship, they agreed in 2010 Palin would have primary physical custody and the two would share legal custody, CBS reports. In August 2012, Johnston said he planned to seek full legal custody of his son and criticized Palin's parenting.
