It's possible to make too big of a deal about the first time. On "Mom," Christy and Adam planned a romantic getaway that both knew was intended to be their first time sleeping together. It was apparently all a bit too much. Both of them admitted to being nervous, but when Christy went into the bathroom to freshen up, two very different things played out.
Adam ran around the room trying to enhance the mood, and figure out what would be the best pose on the bed for Christy to see him -- flat on the back with legs spread is not a good choice. But when he opened the curtains in anticipation of seeing the full moon, he saw something else entirely.
There was Christy, on the ledge and trying to run away. She admitted that she'd just freaked out. It wasn't him, though, she just wasn't ready to take that leap. In fact, she went so far as to decide she wasn't ready to be in a relationship at all. So things can really fall apart if both parties aren't ready for that next step. In other words, be careful and be sure you're both ready ... or at least be sure the window ledge is wide enough for a quick getaway.
