Ice-T Proud Of His High School Gymnastics Photo On 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' (VIDEO)

Ice-T Not Embarrassed By High School Pic On 'Late Night'

Jimmy Fallon tried to continue the time-honored tradition of embarrassing guests with old photos when Ice-T dropped by "Late Night." Only it didn't work. And he thought he had some good ones, considering we're talking about Ice-T in high school doing gymnastics. As it turned out, though, Ice-T said he was proud of the story behind the photo.

“You gotta be strong as hell to do gymnastics," he said. "And, the girls liked all the gymnasts. So I was like, ‘I’m gonna do that.’" He actually got a kick out of the picture, reminiscing about those days, and loving his afro.

If he's kept up on his skills, maybe Ice-T should head across the pond. The BBC has ordered a new celebrity gymnastics competition called "Let's Get Ready to Tumble." Of course, he's pretty busy stateside. Ice-T continues to star on "Law & Order: SVU" -- he was seen in Chicago this week filming a crossover episode with the upcoming "Chicago Fire" spin-off, "Chicago PD." On top of that, he just announced he's working on a new album with his thrash-metal band Body Count, to be released next year.

Ice-T can be seen on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC. "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. EST on NBC.
