Meet The World's Cheapest Millionaire On 'Extreme Cheapskates'

Viewers were introduced to the world's cheapest millionaire on "Extreme Cheapskates." Aimee Elizabeth is fifty-years old and has earned $5.3 million through real estate and other investments. But she's determined not to spend any of that money "unnecessarily." She limits herself to a budget of just $1,000 a month. This is all because she was homeless at age 15 and then became a self-made millionaire by her late 30s.

Aimee proudly took viewers through her place, showing the ways in which she minimizes her expenditures. She showed off the single sponge that she owns, alongside a single knife. "It never touches water," she said of the knife. "I just wipe it down on a towel every time after I use it and put it back in the drawer.” Aimee keeps her breakers and water heater off unless absolutely necessary, and only has her house because her ex-husband let her have it in their divorce. Amazingly, he volunteers to clean the home for free to save her even more money. And after that, she served him cat food instead of tuna to save a few cents.

This millionaire's 1996 Ford Mustang was in such bad shape that a mechanic repossessed it for public safety concerns during the episode. And so, Aimee bummed a ride on a private plane from a stranger to attend a business meeting in Los Angeles.

This isn't Aimee's first appearance on reality TV. She appeared on Bravo's "Millionaire Matchmaker" earlier this year, where she was found to be crazy with "control issues."

"Extreme Cheapskates" airs every Wednesday at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
