Chuck Todd told Politico on Thursday that he will begin hosting his own radio show on SiriusXM's P.O.T.U.S. channel.

The show, "Unscripted with Chuck Todd," will air starting December 7th on Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. It is the latest venture for Todd, who already splits his time between serving as NBC News' chief White House correspondent, hosting MSNBC's "Daily Rundown" and writing a book about Obama.

The host shared the news on Twitter Thursday, writing:

Todd told Politico that he is looking forward to doing interviews and stories that are more in-depth than the time restrictions of television usually allow.

"I want to have the types of conversations with elected officials that you don't get to have on TV-- a 20-minute conversation with Biden, [Sen. Marco] Rubio that allows people to get to know who they are," Todd said in the interview.
